TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The speed is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.

The full review, covering regulation, withdrawals, read more pricing, click here and the bonus terms, is at website Trade The Day.
